How to attract Fairies ?
Fairies are peaceful yet mischievous magical folk that like to frolic and dance in your garden. Perhaps you’re lucky and have an oak tree in your enchanted garden for attracting fairies… if not, consider planting an oak tree! Fairies cherish the Great Oak and use the acorns for decoration, celebrations and use the tops for hats. Magic oak leaves are used in the autumn celebrations. Hundreds of faeries have been found to live in the oldest Oaks. There are fairies to be found in every Oak tree. The health and energy of the surrounding fairy garden plays a major role in determining how many fairies actually live in the Great Oak. Try placing crystals in the ground surrounding the Great Oak if you feel that the energy needs lifting.
Fairies are easily attracted to gardens. They enjoy both wild areas and well-manicured areas of gardens. Alongside your other plants, you should have a small area of your garden that is left unkempt. Placing statues or small fountains in these wilder areas will serve both as a gift to the fairy folk and add a lovely touch to what might otherwise seem only an unkempt area. Fairy houses can be built to welcome the little people. Certain plants are especially favored by fairies and will help attract them to your garden. Below is a list of the little people’s favorite plants.

Heres 10 Tips to get those lovely creatures into your home and garden :

Tip 1 – We fairies love music so install a windchime in your garden or play music, sing and laugh….My personal most favourite sound is laughter, it fills the air with lighter wind, makes it easier for us to fly and did you know, everytime a baby laughs, a new baby fairy is born! What better reason!?

Tip 2 – We love pretty things! Things that glitter and glisten, shine or dazzle – dewdrops on a petal are as pretty to us as crystal & gemstones as are shells and stones, so please leave us a little something at our fairy door as a treat now and then!

Also in this faerie garden make a house for them out of twigs, sticks. This is help protect from the elements and allows them to relax. Also put a small mirror for them and a terracotta saucer that has been filled with rain water. Hope this helps and also be nice and kind to them and the happier they will be. They often treat people how they are treated. Have fun.

You can invite them into your home. Faeries are fond of being flattered and attended too. So its important to nurture their goodwill rather than becoming the object of the ill will. Mortals who show thoughtfulness and respect towards them can be rewarded with unexpected fortune or with stroke of luck when most needed.
They often treat people how they are treated. So make sure your house is clean and tidy.
so ways to invite them and to appease the wickeder ones is:
1.) Leave out some small pieces of butter and little milk. This is their favorite.
2.) Faeries like to bathe. So place a shallow bowl of water in a suitable spot as well for them.
3.) Grow scented climbing plants like honeysuckle around your window or keep flowering pots on the sill. Then open your window at dawn and dusk such as twilight. Faeries are most active at this times.

Put some twigs in in the faerie garden. They will eventually rot which is good because this will attract insects, birds and mushrooms and toadstools to grow.
Put trees in your garden. Like crab apple trees and wild cherry.
Bigger plants to the back and smaller plants to the front.
Make sure the hole for the plants is big enough and leave some room for growing to occur.
Make sure the soil is damp but not wet. Fairies and butterflies love flowers with nectar and brightly colored blooms. They seem to prefer the “cottage style” fairy garden with lots of different kinds of flowers to choose from. It is not important to have a “neat and tidy” fairy garden. Fairies and butterflies will find shelter in a hollow stump or in a clay pot turned on its side under on cold and rainy days. Fairies love to sun their little wings, so it is good to place flat sunning stones among the blooms. A sunny spot, protected from the wind will make a nice sanctuary for fairies and butterflies.
